Who I Am
My name is Andy, and I'm a U.S. Navy veteran who served from 2000 to 2004, including multiple deployments during a time of war. The Veteran Roadmap is a veteran-built resource designed to simplify the VA disability process — giving veterans clear, honest, and actionable guidance without the confusion that often surrounds VA claims.
My Background
Like many veterans, I faced challenges transitioning from military life to civilian life. Along the way, I learned the importance of understanding VA benefits, managing finances, planning for retirement, and creating additional income streams. After navigating the VA system myself, I realized how many veterans were struggling with the same issues — unclear instructions, missing documentation, and unnecessary delays. I built The Veteran Roadmap to make that process easier for everyone.
